Our aim

Most people who need us are settling a parent's estate, and plenty of them are older, tired or grieving. A website that is hard to use is the last thing anybody needs. We build toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We do not claim this site meets every one of those checkpoints, but that is the standard we work to.

What we have done

Pages are built with real headings, labelled form fields, and text that can be enlarged without breaking the layout. Photographs carry alternative text. Everything you can click can also be reached with a keyboard, and the focus outline is left visible. Body text is set at a comfortable size and is checked for contrast against its background. If you have asked your device to reduce motion, the animations on this site stop.

Where it falls short

The map on our service area pages is embedded from Google and we do not control how it behaves. If it gets in your way, every town we cover is also written out in text beside it, and you can always just call us instead.

If something does not work

Tell us and we will fix it. Call or email, and say which page you were on and what happened. If a page is unusable for you, we will give you the same information over the phone.
